2018 China International Internet Plus Expo, Telpo Smart Terminal Stunning Debut

The 2018 China (Guangdong) International Internet Plus Exposition was held at the Guangdong (Tanzhou) International Convention and Exhibition Center from October 24th to 27th, which brought together nearly 700 exhibitors from well-known domestic and foreign companies to showcase the cutting-edge technology of Internet +. It is an eye-opener. Among them, many famous companies in the industry participated in, such as Baidu, Huawei, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, Jingdong X, and Midea.

This year's exhibition is based on the theme of “Digital Wave, Zhichuang Internet”, with an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, which will open up six themes including Internet + “frontier technology, digital commerce, digital life, innovation and entrepreneurship, robot exhibition area and smart manufacturing”. In the pavilion exhibition area, there are more than 20 forum seminars in the same venue, so that the visitors who come to see the exhibition are full of harvest.

There are drones, unmanned supermarkets, and the scenes of robots playing chess in the field. There are 5G technology applications, AR/VR applications, and holographic images brought by the three operators for visitors to experience. Located at No. 3B10, Telpo smart terminals attracted the curious eyes of many tourists and experienced its magical functions. Among them, the face-paying cash register uses a binocular/3D structured light camera for face scanner and verification, which can achieve high-precision face recognition technology for financial-grade payment, and is praised by peers. During the exhibition, Guangdong Telpo won the title of Excellent Exhibitor of Foshan Service Trade and Service Outsourcing Brand Exhibition.

This exhibition introduced more international elements than the previous ones. The British pavilion led by Prince Michael Kent of the British royal family came to showcase the latest technological achievements such as face recognition, sensor technology, intelligent buildings, and smart cities. The Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Cooperation Conference organized by the German Electronics Industry Association also brought together 50 people. Industry experts work together to exchange ideas and think.

The international "Internet +" Expo is not only a platform for many technology industries to display and exchange technology, but also to promote commercial trade and project more effectively. It is understood that the project has signed a total contract amount of 9.017 billion yuan. With the ever-evolving technology, Foshan has also rapidly transformed from a traditional manufacturing city to an intelligent manufacturing city.
