On October 19th, the first Global Biometrics Conference was held in Shenzhen, attracting more than 800 biometric industry representatives and experts from over 30 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, Britain, Japan, Russia and India to gather together for discussion. The development trend of biometric technology promotes the fusion of artificial intelligence biometric technology.

The conference was jointly sponsored by China Security and Protection Products Industry Association, National Security Standards Committee Human Biometric Identification Application Subcommittee, Institute of Automation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Biometrics Technology Innovation Industry Alliance, etc. The theme of the first conference was “Intelligent Times”. A new opportunity for biometrics, reviewing and looking forward to the development of biometrics and exploring opportunities and challenges.

The conference also presented the “Global Biometric Contribution Award” and the “Innovative Product Award”.
