In the end of 2020, Telpo TPS980 product has obtained ISED Canada Certification issued by MiCOM Labs Inc. It indicates that Telpo TPS980 complies with ISED Canada’s legal and technical requirements and has access to the Canadian market.

Since 2016, Industry Canada (IC) has been renamed as Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), which responsible for approval and certification of radio, consumer electronics and communications devices to enter the Canadian market. The ISED regulations are in line with RSS-GEN (General Requirements for Compliance of Radio Apparatus), covering certification procedures such as technical and administrative requirements.

The ISED certificate is the premise and credential that radio products are grant to be placed on the Canadian market. The approval is permanently valid after the device is official certified by the ISED. Therefore, recertification is not necessary if the device remains unchanged.
